Same thing happened to me once in my GMC. Wire fell onto the big v6's exhaust manifold and it melted. lol Blew the fuse and luckily didn't hurt anything else. New piece of wire and a fuse and all has been fine. Almost mentioned this forgetting you have an I6.....no manifolds on that side.
