engine tower help

Anybody using late model clam shell motor mounts and towers?

Can you please post a picture and any info you can share on setting it up?

towers

You can use later towers but the will have extra legth at top of frame just use washers or make a spacer and bolt them in. then you can use the newer clam shelll mounts. what i did was I lucked out and got 72 big block towers, similiar to newer towers just shourter on top bexcause of frame differance and mounted the new clam shells to these, had to drill one hole I think will post picture later if you need it.

You might have to drill holes in your crossmember compare to your old mounting holes. Forgot mine would be differant since I have a newer crossmember in and holes already in right place.
