WA Saginaw 4sp w/ over drive rare

Selling my prize possession I've been holding onto this is a Saginaw four speed with overdrive this is actually what they called an eight speed you got overdrive in first gear overdrive and second gear overdrive and third gear in overdrive and forth gear overdrive third is a great gear for cruising in town this transmission used to be in a 1955 Chevy 1st series p/u with a 235 this transmissions is in excellent condition asking $1200 or OBO shifts smooth no end play if you want to great transmission with overdrive potential and every gear and great fuel economy be able to take your old cars on the highway this is the one for you thx for your time Hop

Is that the Borg Warner R-10 unit behind the Saginaw? Did you assemble this or was it done by a trans shop or even GM.

I love the idea & would like to know more. Picsof the shifter & mount would be great also. Thanks

how far from Kirkland are you? I'm trying to see if a member will ship a 292, so I can pull out my 283/350 lol and 5spd nv5400od and do my 72 5 lug swap. if he says yes id be highly interested. is there a lil room on the price tho?
