Odd GMC Brigadier's

I was searching the web for pictures of South American Brigadier's. For those that do not know, the GMC Brigadier was sold in Argentina and Brazil up into the 90's, after which it was replaced by the 'Super Brigadier', which was very similar to the WhiteGMC Autocar trucks sold here in the U.S.. My search turned up this strange picture:

Take a close look, the blue and white Brigadier in the foreground has an extended hood and set forward front axle, looking a lot like the pre-General C/M series. The brown and tan one in the background also has an extended hood, but a swept back bumper and set back front axle. I am certain I have never seen Brigadier's like either of these two trucks. So, what are they? My guess is they were prototypes of some sort of proposed 'Aero' version, perhaps like the Aero Astro cabover that was around for a few years.

Interesting. Never knew a Long Nose was ever made in a newer model.

Yes, very interesting. So much to know on these trucks. Thanks for bringing this up.

I wonder if this did away with the dog house.
Not very much room with a standard cab Brigadier.

The nose could give more room for the 60 Series engines also.
