E brake is different

Well I almost got the back end of my swap done. But I ran into the problem of now the brake system is different. The 83 c20 had two bolts that held the ebrake cable to the drum with two cables that ran up the frame to by the cab then joined to the pedal. The 84 k20 has just a big nut holding it the drum and both cables meet under the box on the frame and go up the drivers side to the pedal. Now I'm running the c20 axle in the k20 but how can I solve the difference in the e brake and yes I need it
