Re: Preferred music when working on your truck?
Depends on my mood and what i'm working on.
Ripping a dead engine out of a frame....... Metallica Rules! Stitch welding patch panels and patch pieces on the cab of the truck... Classical or smooth jazz. When i'm done for the day......... Zepplin and a cold bier. Rock on fellas

Re: Preferred music when working on your truck?
I've collected over 38,000 songs of every genre you can think of, so I always have different playlists in the works. However, my main playlist is 1200 songs of modern hard rock (Disturbed, Volbeat, Shinedown, Sixx A.M., etc) with a few Maroon 5 and Pentatonix songs (guilty pleasures), and about 30 late 90s - early 00s rap/R&B songs. If I'm stuck listening to radio it's usually on the local "new" (use that term loosely) rock station or Bob FM playing 70s-90s.

Re: Preferred music when working on your truck?
IMO the 70s produced the best music. First look at the number of incredible artists, from Bee Gees to Black Sabbath. Add the pop music was incredible. Speak of, I'll share my 70s decade list. I might be a bit CDO. I can't cite every song from my genre playlists, but do know how many by artist.
This "70s Decade" playlist is made-up of one-hit wonders, songs from artists that "didn't make the cut for genre lists", and a very few (perhaps one this list) from the genre lists that "must be represented". Like "If you Could Read My Mind". That little tune is on three lists actually (Genre, 70s & "favorites of favorites"). If I had to choose an all-time favorite, that would be it..........................Bolded made the cut for favorites of favorites. 70s ARTIST I'm Not In Love 10CC How Long Ace Let's Stay Together Al Green Year Of The Cat Al Stewart How Much I Feel* Ambrosia* Knock On Wood Amii Stewart Love Is Thicker Than Water Andy Gibb Day Dreaming Aretha Franklin So Into You Atlantic Rythm Section Rain Drops Keep Falling On My Head B.J. Re: Preferred music when working on your truck?
Nuthin' but the blues here, too!
Maybe some deep tracks on XM when I'm in the car. I have around a thousand-some odd CD's and players enough for them all to be on random. Thing always seems to know what I want to hear next, too!

Re: Preferred music when working on your truck?
I listen to everything, my dad raised me on classic rock, my sister liked country and 90s/00s rap and hip hop and I went to a pretty integrated school so my musical taste is pretty across the board. A few of my pandora stations for example..
Rush Twenty One Pilots Pentatonix Led Zeppelin Radio The Backbeats Radio Eric Church Radio Urban Method Radio Lupe Fiasco Radio 80s Pop Radio Dubstep Radio Wiz Khalifa Radio Macklemore & Ryan Lewis Radio 70s Rock Radio Pink Floyd Radio Foo Fighters Radio Maroon 5 Radio The Goo Goo Dolls Radio Daughtry Radio Led Zeppelin Rolling Stones It's kinda cool to see all of our different tastes in music yet have the same love for these trucks.
