1965 C10 power brake and Steering conversion?

I know its probably here somewhere but I cant find the answers Im looking for.

I recently picked up a 1965 c10 and want to convert to power steering and front disc power brakes.

I am looking at a kit from summit for disc swap drop spindle combo got that part covered.

What kind of booster/master cylinder do I need? Either stock off another vehicle or aftermarket.

For power steering what parts off of what vehicles do I need to be looking for?

Re: 1965 C10 power brake and Steering conversion?

For a power steering box, all '68-'86 C series and '87-'91 R series steering boxes interchange. The main difference i=s the change in hose fittings from SAE to Metric with an o-ring in about 1980.

For a brake booster, there are many, many, many boosters that are compatible with my booster brackets. Choosing one will partly depend on how much vacuum your engine produces and whether you want a good used one or brand new. Master cylinder depends on whether the the braking system is disc/drum or disc/disc.

You will need the steering box, pitman arm, hoses may work, pump, and the pump brackets may or may not work. That all depends on what engine you have and if it is a V8, does it have the correct short water pump or a long pump. You also may or may not be able to use the pulleys.
