It is Alive!! and kicking
oh happy day after 3 months of working my ars off i got my truck to the point where i could drive it, and that i did, it was only down the street and back but it was better than nothing, now i ham happier than a puppy with 7 peckers, i still have some work to do to it but i can drive it, only problem is that my seat adjuster is broken and my seat is all the way back and i have a hard time pressing the clutch all the way but i am going to fix that this weekend, i will get pics soon for you guys, and i want to thank everybody from this board for all your helpful information and even more so the members from whom i have purchased parts.

which truck is this? the one that was closest to the street when i was there(the orangish one) or the one closer to the house?

no this is the flat bed that is driving, the orange one has a bend frame so i yanked the motor.
i had to have those driveshafts shortened but they work great

I wish I had that trouble, I am 6' tall and have long legs. With the seat all the way back it is only tolerable.
I have a sister that is five foot tall. We used to bolt 2x4 blocks on the pedals of her bike when we were kids. When we got older and she got a car we snuck out and bolted blocks to the gas and brake pedal. Maybe this would work for you
