Score of the year
I recently was browsing the discount tables at the Tallmadge summit racing and I come across these Skyjacker 2.5 inch lift softride front springs for my 72 K20 they were $107 off each spring . I couldnt pass it up so now I'm deciding what to with the rear. 3 inch block is what I'm leaning to. Also anyone know what steering mods I may need to make.

Re: Score of the year
Great score! No steering mods required, longer shocks will be needed though.

Re: Score of the year
x2 -- in fact, stock length rear shocks are the correct length with 2.5" front springs. I've been running them for many years.

Re: Score of the year
Yup, I replaced my sagging OEM front springs a long time ago with 2.5" Softrides. Then last year I replaced my 33/12.50-16.5s (on 9.75" wide wheels) and installed 255/85-16 Cooper Discoverer S/T tires on 16x7 Ford steel wheels.
BTW the rear springs are stock with Hellwig overloads. The Skyjacker kit came with 2" blocks but I never used them, so the rear is slightly lower than the front. Before pic: After:

Re: Score of the year
Thanks, so do I!
I said above that the rear sits a bit lower than the front, and it does look that way sometimes. Other times it looks level. Right now it's on the flat concrete carport floor so I checked. Per the tape measure and better yet, a carpenter's level on top of the bed rails, it is sitting perfectly level. Just wanted you to know in case you put in those 3" blocks you mentioned. Might make the rear stick up in the air a bit much.....
