The new old guy
Hi everyone, you can call me Steve
Who knows why I picked today to join but I have been a fan of this forum for many years dreaming to be completing my project I started so many years ago (20+ ago). I have had this 69 LWB truck ever since I bought it off my dad when I was 16. I have put many miles on her and in my mid 20's decided to do a frame off restore. Well, life, job and then kids found better use of my time, and the only time the truck has seen motion was to move it from two different house garages. This this last December I decided enough was enough and it was time I started back in on it. I had a vision back then and lets just say I was blind, so I spent December cutting out the old rear 4 link suspension I originally installed (wrong I might add). Over the year away from this project I have gained knowledge that I lacked those early years so I have a new vision and hopefully I will create a thread of the progress. Thank you to all of you that have posted here of your builds, I have enjoyed many hours of reading and all the great pictures too! Pictures of my progress... http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/a...1&d=1489646434 http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/a...1&d=1489646665 http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/a...1&d=1489646665 http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/a...1&d=1489646665 |

Welcome to the Family, Steve! Looks like you're well on your way to a very nice truck!
