wire brushing outer grill????

my outer grill is knicked and bent so when i work the metal back to new it will look different, so i am thinking that if i wire wheel the whole grill it will hide these imperfections. if it doesnt work i can always etch prime and paint it the same color of the body. What do yall think?

i know, but i'm thinking it would at least be uniformly crappy, hahah, instead of dented and partially crappy with half crome and half scratches

I took light sandpaper to mine, gave it an aluminum look that I kinda like. Sprayed it with clear coat after that, definatly not show car chrome but clear aluminum seems cool enough for me
