Upper control arm question?

What are the cup shaped pieces between the control arm and the frame called?
Cupped on one side and flat on the other. I cant find a listing on them anywhere. Mine are missing.

Re: Upper control arm question?

Do you mean the washer that goes between the shims and the control arm? Those are just to keep the shims snug if you need more shims front than back for alignment. The back of the control arm shaft is dished for them. I'm not sure you can get them new.

Re: Upper control arm question?

There should be something between the shim and the curved surface. I looked at a 69 and it looks flat. So there has to be a cupped washer or something in there. I dont have that part, and cant find a listing on it.
No I am not driving this truck yet

Re: Upper control arm question?

I was probably editing my last reply the same time as when you asked. I believe they are called "Self Aligning Washers"

Damn spam-bot...

I would go down to pull-a-part and get some off of a square body truck. LKQ you pull yard only had two squares last time I was there.
