Wood rot
Well, I just emptied the bed out, (those one ton disc spindle/A arm assmeblies are HEAVY!!!!)
I knew the wood was rotted a little, when i crawled under in PA, I saw a little green sheet metal visable. Well, I pulled up the metal from under the plastic liner, and it was a freeway EXIT sign. I was LOL so hard, i split the wood and fell through. Man my leg hurts now. I've never seen such rotted wood in my life. Oh well, I have a mess to clean up now, thought I'd share the tech tip in there. FREEWAY EXIT SIGNS MAKE GOOD BED FLOORS!!! ------------------ '69 G.M.C. 350/350. hey....this is kinda off topic but i gotta tell you all this......
i was talkin to this guy the other day and he was tellin me about this guy that he knew that was really cheap. he wouldn't spend money to fix anything. the guy came to work one day all beat and bruised up. the guy asked him what happened. he said that he didn't want to talk about it. the guy finally got him to tell.......he was takin a dump in the bathroom, he went to wipe, leaned to the side and the tiolet fell through the floor into the basement...lmao!! i about pissed my pants when he told me that. anyhow, that's my rotten floor story...... sorry longhornmail....hehe ------------------

Wow...I just put all the crap that was in the Longhorn into the back of the GMC...while the Longhorn wasn't even phased by all the weight, the GMC is saggin like crazy. Easier that adjusting the headlights I guess.
