Garage Sale
I need to clean up my driveway and garage to keep my neighors happy. I have a few 73-80 parts I need to get rid of soon.
SWB chassis, no engine or trans '79 or '80 valance panel (panel between grille and bumper) real nice shape. Has chrome trim that has minor dent. Core support and radiator with very minor rust. Repop drivers door, has some surface rust, no rust in seams. Straight front chrome bumper. Chrome has some crazing. Would like to get $75 for everything. Parts are in Indianapolis |

The folks from the city went by the house today. New price on the chassis is FREE. It needs to leave in the next few days.

Where exactly are you in Indianapolis? Are all the parts still on the chassis? Do you have some pics of the bumper?

I just got finished stripping the junk body off the frame. It still has front and rear suspension, gas tank, steering, front and rear bumpers, and spare tire carrier. The engine frame mounts, engine, trans, are removed. The rear bumper is a step bumper.
It is sitting on four junk tires. Two of the wheels are stock 5 lug, two are 8' ralleys w/out rings or centers. Send me an e-mail address and I will send some pics, they were taken before I stripped the body. There does not appear to be any frame damage. Looks like it needs brakes front and rear and a rebuild of the front suspension. It would be a good start on a SWB truck, I need to part company with it though, the neighbors are on my case. I am located on the east side of Indy about 5 minutes from 465, 70 or 65. I am about 25 minutes from downtown. Dave |

could you send a pic of the chassis to ward_dj@yahoo.com...this is Don, I talked to you on the phone the other day, I missed out on the complete SWB truck and haven't had a chance to call you back yet. I'm not really sure when I could come get it.....schedule is pretty thick right now, you don't offer delivery do you?

I have been trying to get someone with a trailer to go with me to Indy. Well, let me know if it doesn't work out.

Sorry for the slow response, just got back from a spring break trip to Kentucky with the family.
Don: I sent the photos a few minutes ago. Sorry , I can't deliver. I had to take the receiver off my truck after I lowered it. Haven't gotten a new hidden receiver installed yet. jwart: It is a 1/2t 2wd swb '75 chassis. I haven't received a letter or phone call from the city yet, so I still have some time to work something out. lol |
