Anyone interested in a 69 C6500 chassis/dump
I bought a 69 C6500 dump truck back in October and decided to put the cab on a one ton chassis. I'm not too familiar with the brakes etc on these large trucks. I will be keeping the cab fenders grill core support and front bumper. Seeing if anyone is interested before I cut up the chassis and dump. Located in Ringwood IL. Thanks, Jon

Drum brakes. I believe air brakes. Again not familiar with these trucks.

Does it have a SPID? You can get the RPOs concerning the axle and brakes and look them up ay www.outintheshop.com

It looks like an Air Tank under there.
What does the Brake Pedal look like? I'm figuring that the Engine and Compressor is gone, if it does have Air Brakes. Also could tell by the Chambers on the Rear Axle.

It has Air Brakes.
Also a 2-Speed Rear. A lot of good parts there.
