Is their anyone on this great form running Edelbrock Headers #65273, if so anyone have pictures of them on your motor? They're the only ones I can find that work for my "Smog Legal" motor.

Re: Edelbrock Header Help

i believe dennis had them on his truck before his 6.0 swap. i am also looking for smog legal headers. But my truck is a federal truck and does not have an air pump so its kind of a pain to find them without the air injection holes. Or thinking of running standard headers but i dont if they would pass for smog.

Re: Edelbrock Header Help

They fit well. The only issue I ran into was the A.I.R. pump connections on the headers are in different spots that the original ones on the stock manifolds. I'm going to get a couple 90 degree connectors to make the routing of the hoses easier. I have not run them yet, ( need to put trans back in) but they line up perfect with the previous exhaust pipes.

Cool! I was wanting to know about those as well and was curious about the location of the A.I.R. pump connections

Re: Edelbrock Header Help

I Considered them but decided to keep the stock manifolds and just sand blasted and paint them. I also could not find any data to show any considerable HP over the manifolds. I also polished the stock SS air line and clear coated it which tuned out real nice, too bad it runs behind the engine.

Re: Edelbrock Header Help

Just picked up a pair myself. Mine don't seem so easy to install with the AC and heater in the way. I was debating on sending them back.

That's what I was afraid of. I still have have my heater box and ac box still on. All the pictures i see are of trucks with no air box. Just open firewall.
