Can someone help decode this VIN?
Looking at purchasing this truck. Advertised as a 1969 but I believe it is a 1971.
I believe it is reading

C - cab
E - V-8
2 - 3/4 ton
34 - wide side - not sure?
-
1 - Oshawa
1 - 1971???
15328 - serial #

C= 2wd - the rest your good on . Looks to be a 1971 GMC

Thanks. I did confirm it is a 71.
Anything to worry about on a 71? I want to restore and add some power.
Floor looks good and I will check cab mounts.
Has a custom deck so cab is all that needs inspection.

Should have disc brakes up front. Looks nice. 71 is my favorite year. Looks pretty solid from picture.

Yes, good to have disc front brakes. I bought it and hauled home. Will be a fun project. I like the Dually mod.
