1965 LS Swap

Finally completed the LS Swap on my 65 C10, but having problems with the way we spliced the new fuel lines off the donor truck to my 65 lines. Has anyone found a kit that works good for fuel rail back to tank? It is fuel injected not carb...

I haven't come across any kit, as there are a bunch of ways to do it. You running hard lines, AN lines, combination of both? What is your fuelpump/filter setup?

I couldn't get the tank behind the seat to work because it didn't have a vent or something. I hear you can use a inline fuel pump and Corvette fuel filter But it did not work for me (I tried twice). I had to install a k5 blazer 30 gal tank under the bed and it cost right around 450- 500 for everything and has the return line. I have a 5.3 ls with 4l60e and a dually 14 bolt rearend.

I have a 1992 Chevy blazer tank and fuel pump, the guy that ran mine pieced it together and is leaking in several spots. Plus the stock fuel pump will not be big enough to handle spray. Just trying to clean up a mess basically.

That's going to be a high pressure line..don't skimp on fuel lines..I used s/s braid from my pump to the fuel rail..some have used the factory style lines..whatever you choose to run the less connections you have the better..I used a walbro 255 and a vette filter/reg on mine..

This is what I got, mind you I did mine in 2008 ish and there wasn't a large option for vendors. I also didn't need the regulator either. Pump is quiet and still running strong

You can use that you just have to seal the holes in the tank, get a walbro 255 fuel pump, and a sending unit that matches the ohms to your gauge. There is a guy on YouTube that has already done that once and set it up for the LT1 motor which would work the same way. If I find the video I will post it later. BTW I used 3/8 feed and 5/16 return brake line and high pressure rubber line with high pressure fuel hose clamps. Worked well and it's not as expensive as other alternatives.

IMO just hardline everything that you can. Get it down to just a few connections (pump, filter&reg or vette reg, rail) and then make a couple of braided lines with high quality AN fittings. Simple, serviceable, and you save the money on hardline you can use for braided lines.
