67' steering stabilizer
I'm doing a frame-up rebuild on a 67'. It does not have power steering, but it does have a 'steering stabilizer' (it's basically a horizontally mounted shock absorber that helps reduce wear and prevent "bump steer").
My questions is this... does anyone know exactly how/where this steering stabilizer and it's connecting brackets attach? thanks in advance. |

If it's a MOOG 1 bracket attaches at the frame by the steering box and 1 attaches to the center link.

I understand where & how the end with the u-bolt attaches on the center link. What is not clear to me is where the other end attaches? Does the L-bracket attach directly to the frame? If so, does it attach in front of or behind the front cross-member? Do you have a photo or diagram that shows the assembly?
thanks for your continued help. |
