Disc brakes and boosters
I just finished installing disc brakes all around. I added brake booster and port valve. I have bench bled master cylinder and brakes lines but I can't build a firm pedal and when running the pedal drop straight to the floor. I can't find any leaks so I'm stumped. Any advice out there?

Re: Disc brakes and boosters
Did you get good fluid flow from the bleeders on all 4 calipers? What calipers are you using? What master cylinder? What booster?

Re: Disc brakes and boosters
The calipers in front are from LMC truck, rear are a conversion kit from Summit. The booster was given to me by a friend so I'm not sure on that one.
I did get flow from all bleeders. Stronger flow in the front than the rears |

Re: Disc brakes and boosters

Re: Disc brakes and boosters
The price is exactly the same as in post #1 of the for sale thread.......link is in my sig line \/ \/ \/
If the rear calipers are not flowing much, the valve inside the combo valve may have slid over and blocked the rear circuit. It will need to be centered again.

Re: Disc brakes and boosters
This may not be your problem but there is a tool you need when you are bleeding your brakes for the proportioning valve.

Re: Disc brakes and boosters
Thanks to all for the help with this. As it turns out the MC is leaking and has to be replaced. Here is the problem I don't know the type of booster I have. It's a short pocket booster but that is all I know. I know I need a short pocket MC but any suggestion on bore size?

Re: Disc brakes and boosters
Don't forget to correct the pedal ratio when adding a booster to a previously manual setup.
