Mcgaughy drop spindles install question

I'm finally making the switch to drop spindles but I was wondering if I would need anything else to install them. I already have the disc brakes on the truck and I know with some of the cheaper spindles, they require different ball joints. Is this the case with McGaughys, or can I just do the switch and roll. I'd appreciate any help
Thanks fellas,
Andrew

Re: Mcgaughy drop spindles install question

What year is the truck and what years are the drop spindles for?

Re: Mcgaughy drop spindles install question

I used Western Chassis 2.5 drop spindles on my '70 they fit up with the '70 ball joints and tie rod ends.

Re: Mcgaughy drop spindles install question

You have to order spindles to match the year of ball joints and outer tie rods you are using.
They are sold by the following years:
60-62
63-70
71-72
73-87 light duty
73-87 heavy duty.
