Windshields

So I'm looking for the best replacement windshield and searching the site the reviews are mixed at best. Has anyone bought their glass from Brothers? They state that their windshields are OEM thickness. Can anyone verify this?
Thanks!
Randy

Ask them what the thickness is, measured with a dial or digital caliper and I can check a couple of stock ones I have here. I have bought 5 or 6 of the tinted/shaded replacement ones and only had one that was bad. I always check them before I install them. I returned it and they exchanged it, no problem. In the area that was bad, looking through it made the objects on the other side look distorted.

Re: Windshields

Pilkington I believe is the manufacture that most here agree is the best and thickest.

Re: Windshields

When I asked this same question, reliable sources told me to use Pilkington.

Re: Windshields

Pilkington bought Libbey Owens Ford, which was an original equipment supplier for GM. PPG, the other major supplier, changed their name to PGW and then sold their glass business.

Re: Windshields

I got mine at Auto City Classic and I am very happy with them. If you call and want to talk to someone about their glass products ask for Denny.

Re: Windshields

I had ordered mine through Summit Racing, got a gasket from Rock Auto. Not sure about the thickness or manufacturer but it's been in for two weeks without any problems.
