Dash Pad Interchange
I have a decent idea of the dash pad changes that occurred throughout the 73-87 year models. I'm trying to remember though.... are the 73-80's the same, then in 81 is when the shape changes slightly (especially around the a/c vents)? I can't remember if there were any significant changes from the 73-80 models. I know the early model dashes don't have the notch for the VIN plate..... anything else?
Yes, I know they will all interchange, I'm just trying to locate an exact GM replacement for my 74. Thanks in advance.......

I think the VIN on the dash started around 76 or so. The 73's were a lot more square, compared to the rounded part at the right on the later ones.
