Wiper motor replacement
I have swapped out an old wiper motor that had a wiper pump as well for a new wiper motor only now i cant get it to run at all ,it has power to 2 terminals of the three and an independant earth also switching the switch makes no difference to power at the terminals is the fact i havent got the pump plug in the circuit now causing an issue do you think pic attached of old motor with pump new motor has 3 lugs the same as this with the rh one and the middle one getting power i think or do i have a switch issue when testing switch is not in dash just loose is this a ground issue thanks in advance rob

Wiper motors are switched ground. They have POWER at all times and the switch provides the ground path. Could that explain what you experienced?

Thank you I was testing with the switch not grounded , I have sorted it now
