Re: Wanted 59 gmc shift knob for floor trans
Did the originals have the pattern on it, I do not remember ever seeing a AD of TF truck with a pattern. If you need plain knob search ebay for tractor knobs. I got two for my transfer case levers for under $10, truck and aftermarket guys wanted 2x+ that. I just hope that my truck does not think it needs to be in fields plowing all the time...

Re: Wanted 59 gmc shift knob for floor trans
I don't believe I've ever seen a shift knob with a pattern in a TF. Later vehicles using an SM420 might have a marked knob, though.

Re: Wanted 59 gmc shift knob for floor trans
81/87 Toyota land cruisers had a shift knob with that pattern but the thread would be wrong. They aren't real cheap either.
If you have access to a lathe you might take a stock black knob and make a recess in the top that you can make a shift pattern insert for that you glue into the knob. My HAMB shift knob was made that way. A bit fancier but the same idea.
