67-72 C10 Chassis

Hey guys I am new to the board. I just purchased a 67 C10 LWB small window truck and am in the Market for a Chassis for it so that I can build it up and then do a swap when it is complete. My truck is running and driving just needs some floor repair from where the window and door seals were dry rotted.

What can I expect to pay for a good rust free Chassis Long or Short..... Basically a roller, or just Rails with a rear Axle?

Re: 67-72 C10 Chassis

I'm interested to know this, too. I have a 1971 C10 that I'll be selling as soon as I'm done taking the front suspension out from under it. It'll be everything but the engine, tranny, and front suspension.

When doing frame swaps make sure the licensing entity in your area is OK with it. The frame has a VIN that matches the body. Many areas don't check the frame VIN, but it's something to keep in mind. At the very least you will want a title for the cab and a bill of sale for the frame. A title for both would be ideal.

I will look into that, Generally this is not something our MTO looks into due to the usual amount of rot that makes the VIN unreadable.
