Re: SO i bought some slots from a board member..

Here is my thread on it. It says custom bench seat. So I'm guessing that was the Cheyenne type interior?

I do remember that one. It came from just north of me. Didn't recall you selling it.
Do you remember this burb? It was in your driveway in late 05 or early 06. We filled the back end with parts....

Maybe this will help you out. Sakohntr (Bruce) Bought this in texas. I think you were holding some parts for him and I was along for the ride. I bought some inner fenders and an outer fender from you. And of course got the grand tour of all your goodies....

Re: SO i bought some slots from a board member..

Was this the deal where you drove down a car and left it and drove the burb home?

Better get going on it... I have a feeling you are like me in that you have a lot of projects to work on, just a matter of which one gets the attention.
Not sure on the lift in this one. The original ad said it was 6" but it seems like maybe more to me. Not sure how legal it will be once I put the 37"s on it.

Sure does! and 14 degrees this am to boot. I don't think that "tank" will fit in the garage and still be able to get around it.

Re: SO i bought some slots from a board member..

So things have changed some... I parted a rusty low mile 72 K-20 that ran good. I figured the 350 4bbl would be more at home in the burb and make life easier with the install. Even close to numbers matching...
Went to install the engine last weekend and ran into an "issue"... Will let the pics do the talking. On a brief hold again.

I had a trans rebuilt for my 69 project. I am just going to use that. I have another good core I will have rebuilt for my 69. There is a place not too far away that say "if it can be fixed, they can do it". Regardless, it will have to come out.

That's the back of the transmission right? Bet there is a torque bracket on the transfer case. Broken transmission cases and adapters is why they are not used anymore. There is a thread somewhwhere on it at this site.
Here is the thread http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=491001

No torque bracket, but my buddy said we should add one. Looks like that may be a bad idea?
Thanks for the link.

Re: SO i bought some slots from a board member..

Update, my buddy wants to add the later model bracket from the bell housing to the transfer case like a later model. Any pros or cons to that?

Had to push it out for car trailer repair.............. I will post pics of that in GD.......
