Re: Finally.... Clean up time.

There is honestly nothing usable in that pile. I promise.
Although, I did almost forget to take the V-8 motor mounts off the front cross-member in the picture.
I did take the wheels off shortly after I took this picture.

Re: Finally.... Clean up time.

I'd like to get my hands on one of those crossmembers. I have a guy local to me who parts these trucks and quoted me 300 bucks for a stock stripped crossmember! No thanks...

Well, yes and no. I want to do a sectioned front crossmember on my truck but I would prefer to do it on a x-member other than the one in my truck. That way if I screw up, my truck is still in one piece. Plus, my truck can stay together while I work on the crossmember. So, no I don't need it but yes I would like to have it.

haha ooo ok. Well, If you're interested in going to a 71 style front end with disc's I've got a complete hub to hub set up at the house that will probably be going up on the parts board soon.

The day will come when scrapping out anything original will be seen as a tragedy.

Yes, the other side was way way worse. The side you can see was rusted on the seems halfway up the edges. The inside around where the wheel well mounts were rusted completely away. Trust me, not worth working on. I bet 20 people have looked at it to buy in the last 15 years and no one wanted it.
