SS blazer a/c comp mount bracket question
just received a new SS trailblazer a/c compressor for my 68 c10 with a 2001 5.3. The compressor mounting holes don't line up on the factory 2001 a/c mounting bracket. I'm assuming that i need the SS trailblazer mounting bracket from probably a 2005-2007? The new compressor is a factory sanden trsa12b. The suction and discharge ports sit parallel to the engine crankshaft and are indexed point up high as this was my choice so i didn't cut the frame out. If i have to get the trailblazer bracket, does it have mounting holes on the front flange for the belt tensioner? Any help with pics and info would be great. Thanks, Brian F.

While researching putting an LS2 out of a 2006 Trailblzer SS into my '72 Jimmy. I would like to retain the TRSA12B compressor. Did you ever find a solution on a way to mount the TRSA12B compressor on you 5.3? Thank you, Bob |

Re: SS blazer a/c comp mount bracket question
I imagine that the stock compressor bracket for the trailblazer compressor would work right?

Ah, and the lower portion bolts to the oil pan so a dropdown bracket has to be fabbed: http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...8&postcount=36
