shipping a van from colorado to nj

anyone know of a shipper near selida Colorado or a good shipping company. I am looking to buy a 68 flat nose van camper conversion. its 17 foot long 9 foot tall and 6'8" wide. it will run to get it on a trailer. I put a thing on u ship but no one is coming in with a realistic number. I would love it to be about 750. one guy quoted 4500. I was like I will drive out there redo the mechanical and drive it back before I do that. lol. crazy

Fly out, fix it, and drive it home. This is the perfect time for it.

U-ship is all about brokers now. It's nothing like what it was. Individuals aren't bidding on the jobs like they used to. Your best bet is indeed word of mouth--I personally stopped using it. I think I shipped my last truck from Oregon to Milwaukee for under 1000$ and will see if I can find the guys number.

One idea cam to mind for this site--why not align ourselves with a few shippers and try and get preferred rates and such. Worked on another site I was on for a while years back.

If it drives, I would just go get it. That is tall which is going to limit the guys that can move it.

Hey bigrigpardo, I live 5 minutes from Sedalia, so if you fly out, I'd be willing to help you out if you need tools, etc. Let me know.
