Can't buy or find centerl link part
So I swapped out my 64 suspension for a 85 suburban frontend. Now that I'm trying to put steering back together I can find anywhere that sells a replacement. What are my options.

Re: Can't buy or find centerl link part
The center link is a non wearing part and isn't sold aftermarket. You're going to need to find a used one. Are there any junkyards around there with 73-87 trucks in them ?

Yeah I ended up going to local pick a part place and found one for $8.00 What do people do if they can't get one.

Re: Can't buy or find centerl link part
Have to find used. As a non wearing part replacement units were not in demand so no manufacture them. Unlike some other centre links that have a ball stud in them that wears and becomes sloppy these trucks only have tapered holes in them for the ball stud to fit in. Glad you found a reasonably priced used one. Clean it up and throw some paint on it and good to go.
