stereo in Panel
Finally got my 69 Panel on road after sitting for too long. Blast to drive. No stereo sucks.
Now for some High Performance tunes. Thinking I will leave original in dash for look. Mount new modern unit in console I am working on designing. Hidden deal.Already have two alpine amps so going to use them.600 and 400 watts I think, had them a while. My thoughts. Kick panels or door panel mount pods so as not to cut truck up. Cpl 6x9 mid way back and medium size sub rear. Trying to resist adding lots of speakers, unless it helps make better system. Like music fairly loud and clear. Mostly rock ZZ top, Nugent, Led Zeppelin, Seager, Guns & rose's ,60's and 70's rock. System with possible expansion is idea as can only afford basic right now. Suggestions on speaker and layout are welcome.

I can't help with the speakers Chris, but I was just wondering if you had visited the "Truck Audio" forum on here. I don't know how much traffic it has but I'm sure if you skimmed through some of the threads that have been posted you could get some ideas. LockDoc
