Re: Factory Cruise Control! Need Pics
I've got a working 72 cruise master set up in my k20 and factory literature. Shoot me a pm if you need pics or a copy of the manual. Pete

Re: Factory Cruise Control! Need Pics
Do these look like the brackets that would work with a cruise master setup off of a 72?

Re: Factory Cruise Control! Need Pics
Hmmmm. Look different than mine - one looks like an OEM bracket for an auto tranny kick down cable.

Re: Factory Cruise Control! Need Pics
The guy I bought the cruise setup from said that one was for a th350 kickdown. The others don't look like anything I have seen either.
Look like yours have been home made which looks easy enough to do and probably the route I will be taking. What are the specs on the truck you have the cruise on? Tranny? 2 or 4wd?

Re: Factory Cruise Control! Need Pics
I don't believe my brackets are homemade rather OEM pieces that came in a complete set but agree probably not tough to replicate. Truck is a 72 k20 with an auto tranny (700r4).

Re: Factory Cruise Control! Need Pics
Here is a link to a thread I started about these Cruise control units. In it you will find two separate links to manuals for all variations of these units. Everything you want and need to know. Hope this helps.

Re: Factory Cruise Control! Need Pics
Hmm, the reason I thought they might be home made is because the other brackets like those I have seen appear to have some offsets and stamped looking areas.
