Pushrodjr's 1969 C10 Frame off update
This project to date has taken me right at 4 years. Its finally being completed and hopefully be done by July. This was my grandpa's truck in 69 and then went to my dad. My dad planned on rebuilding it but passed away before he got started. I drove it for some time and noticed that the old Nova 350 motor that was in it started to smoke. I wanted to change valve seats, then. Bam one thing after another started coming off. Engine was dyno'd at 537 HP and 523 Ft/lbs with a carb 93 Octane. I haven't run it on the Fitech yet.
Fully built 383 stroker Scat rotating assembly comp cam xr294hr fully roller system Fitech 600HP Power Adder Summit + custom ceramic coating headers TKO600 Disc front/ drum rear 15x10 front 265/50r15 Hankook H101 15x12 rear 295/50r15 Hankook H101 CPP 5.5/4 drop suspension HDX Dakota digital Sappele wood bed with hidden fasters Key phob actuated wood bed strip for fuel access list is long but its been a long build. I have Engineered the heck out of it with out access to a machine shop. If you have questions I have no problem to help answer. Last edited by Pushrodjr; 05-10-2017 at 12:30 PM. Nice little helper you got there, and good progress on the truck! I'm hoping your valve covers will clear your brake booster, I guess you could always go to the 8" booster if you had to. LockDoc

I have planned using the Hydroboost setup. I didn't have a problem with vacuum but from the beginning I planned using the Hydroboost setup so I wouldn't have to worry about powering the booster.
