65 c10 Panckaed Crossmember question
So im about to pancake my crossmember 1.5 inches and ive read that you want to move the whole crossmember forward an inch to center the wheels in the wheel wells. But asi was looking at mine, it appears that if i move it forward, it will hit the steering linkage. Am i missing something?

Re: 65 c10 Panckaed Crossmember question
I must have misread it then. So you just pancake and rebolt it in its original spot?

Re: 65 c10 Panckaed Crossmember question
Porterbuilt makes "forward arms" to center the wheels and change the geometry.

Re: 65 c10 Panckaed Crossmember question
Yeah using forward control arms will be a lot easier then moving the crossmember.
