Tacho Wiring

Fitted tacho to dash and now ready to wire , Have instructions from box which sort of helps but not having a standard distributor/coil set up I am unsure what to do . Pic of dash and distributor attatched. If anyone has the same set up would love to hear how you wired it or which wire to splice
Thanks in advance rob

Re: Tacho Wiring

Look in front of your plug, should be two spades to plug into. They should be in front of that plug.

Re: Tacho Wiring

If there is a wire in the tach spot you may already have a wire underneath the dash for the tach. You COULD splice into it, but I would follow it and know where it went. You could also unplug it and see if it affects anything, then run a new wire to your tach. Here is a link to an HEI drawing.
