tranny leak
It looks like my tranny pan is leaking around one bolt is that possible? Just very small leak.
Can I remove that bolt and put some kind of sealant rtv or something and reinsert it with out draining the tranny? Will that fix it? Thanks

Yes that is possible.
And yes you can remove just the one bolt in ? and put some RTV around the bolt head and on the thread's and it should take care of it. I had one bolt on my astro van trany years ago that did the same thing and it didnt matter where i installed that bolt it would leak untill i sealed it that way. |

silly question...... I let my truck sit all winter and it had a slow (well mabey a little faster than that) leak and I figer by the look of, most of it is on the floor...... how much does it normally take to fill it up completely again, not sure on the kind of tranny.
