The tang on the bottom of the dist shaft goes into the OIL PUMP. Reach down in there with a long screw driver and turn it as needed in order to get the dist to drop down.

Please stop saying "pointing at the number one plug". Forget the damn plug. Your only concern is the #1 plug wire tower on the dist cap.
