Re: Clyde's '65 BBW "Bonnie"

Mike here,
Curious about tire sizes with those wheels. I am looking to gain a little scrub height due to my controls arms getting hammered all of the time. I am close to the track in Sanger, I am close to Lewisville if you ever want to hit the track one evening. I am digging the truck, looks great.

I'm running 225/55/17. The lowest spot on my lower control arm sits about
2 1/2" off the ground. We should cruise some time

I am about the same, maybe a little more clearance now that I shaved 1/2 of my CPP arm off on a railroad track. Some good racing this weekend at Sanger and a few good shows around Dallas this weekend. Plus Cars and Coffee in Plano. I am always down for some cruising and grub. I am waiting on a response from Cragar on some wheel info.

Re: Clyde's '65 BBW "Bonnie"

I haven't posted in awhile but after I dropped my drive shaft awhile back I had a new driveshaft made. That made a huge difference. I also upgraded to a new posi unit I'm still breaking it in but I can tell it's going to be fun. Went cruising the other night and took a couple decent pictures

Love the pics. If you dont already, you should check out the c/10 club on FB. We just met at Kellers last night and they usually have a few gtg's a month. C10s in the park was a blast with 400 c/10s and the pasture party is coming up. Its being put on by Lone Star Squares.

That truck wears some nice character for sure. Are you going to Pistons & Paint next weekend?

Yeah, sorry to raise your blood pressure lol.

Hey, I have a question on the shock relocators. Do they allow for a better angle or the stock length shocks with spring drop? As you can tell by my sig, I found the SB project I was looking for for my 14 year old...and one for me too. This old dog is going to have to learn some new tricks.

They help keep the appropriate shock geometry

Hi when you get a chance can you measure the distance between the top of front fender wheel well to the ground and also the same for the rear? Trying to think of doing something similar thanks

So from the ground to the top of wheel well opening is 25" in the front and 23.5" in the rear
