well i hadnt got to spent much time on my truck i got some time over this past weekend i just thought i try to clean the look of it up some so i worked no the drivers side bed worked on sanding the rust spots off and sanding it i put some spray can Rust-oleum on it for now till i get some of my other projects done

I havent got to do anymore for a wait to any of my projects i also havent got to drive it other then on the street were i live it probably wasnt my truck you seen but thats cool if you been close to Hot Spring

hey Erick, hows it going, Lenny here, just found your build project...been checking it out. Looks like a nice project in the making! Just bought a 72 custom 10 fleetside....ready to make it a driver

Suppose dad and I will come down to hot water Saturday...hopefully the weather will cooperate!! hollar at me!

Hey Lenny i have been doing ok how about you glad to see you are on the board is a good web site have learned alot on here thanks for checking my builds out i having posted much on the old pickup in a while money funds have slow down seen i the only one working now i did take it to the muffer shop other day and had new pipes and mufflers from the headers and dumped them out behide the rear tires and rewired the cab and under hood i think i have spent more time working on the suburban thou out of my builds on here i check your 72 out on here looks like a good truck to build hope to see you and your dad at the show saturday i hope it has a good turn out i hope its as good as last year i think it was around 80 + cars and pickups

Thanks it has had its challenges it still has a few to get worked out it also has been fun working on it and spenting time with my son doing it

well not much of a update its almost been a year but i have gotting a little bit done to the old truck i got the exhaust done at the muffler shop had them dump out behide the rear tires and got the starting problem fix it was that it was leaking the fuel out of the fuel lines went it set for awhile i got lucky and it showed itself went i move it one day and on fathers day me and son was working on some doors that someone give to me for scrap to haul off they were in better shape then mine so i decided to fix them he was getting side track and wanting to wash the truck so we went to cleaning the old 71 up try to upload some pics of it later

well after some time away from this old truck hope to get back on it now i got it tag now so i got to drive it about 5 miles to it new home got a few bugs to work out of it

haven't had much luck with the old truck try to get some bugs worked out of it has anyone ever try to rebuild there power sterring box mine is leaking around were the shaft goes in it

Little update I know it's been awhile I had the truck running and got to drive it on the road but it wasn't very much keep having problems with getting fuel me and my wife loves the old truck but i about got burn out with it and wanted to sell it but she didn't want me to so looks like it's going to stay around so we agreed that it needs a lot of tlc so the overhaul continues so I got a coworker that really wants the motor out of it so I made a deal with him on it because my motor matches the year of his truck it's a 58 283 so now I am going with a 5.3 so today me and my son started the tear down so hope to get to spent some time with my boys and wife on it and share some pictures along the way and get some ideal from it all and finish my build tread
