Cloth seat upholstery question

Looking into recovering the seat in my 74, my wife wants cloth since vinyl gets to hot in the summer. Where have people found nice cloth seat upholstery that is period correct and will match medium blue interior? I see a lot of velour and would rather stay away from that.

Re: Cloth seat upholstery question

Your choices are going to be all vinyl, vinyl/velour combo or leather. None of the suppliers offer cloth. The only way your going to get cloth, is to take your seat to an upholstery shop and have them order what you want in cloth and they can make you one.
Ive used Classic Industries, and they have nice covers. I know you said no velour, but the vinyl/velour combo is nice. Here's a photo of it.

Alright, I'll have to check into that. Velour just doesn't seem like it would hold up very well over time. Here is what I have currently, something like this would be ideal.

Re: Cloth seat upholstery question

I've seen fabric like that. I have their sample book. So the stuff is nice compared to the pics on the computer. But you can order a sample book, they are only like $5, I believe.
