92 crew cab dually

I bought this truck a few months back and have been fixing little things on it as they arise, its a 92 cclb dually with a 7.4 bbc and 4l80 trans.

So far
New oil cooler lines
new radiator
new water pump
egr deleted
oil changed
trans fluid changed
tinted windows
tow mirrors
Painted wheels
New center caps and rings
lowered 5/8

Ill post a few pics of when i first got it and then now, i just lowered it this weekend. Got new rear fenders on order along with air lift overload bags

Re: 92 crew cab dually

I went and picked this up 2.5 hours away from home tonight. Dually did awesome, pulled great, got 10.2 mpg, couldnt be happier out of a lowered tow rig, never even realized it was lowered to be honest.

Vehicle height can help at times, i love my 4" drop when my #2750 truck camper is on the back. "Just like a brick on rails, all be it a BIG brick"!

I love the 88-98 lowered duallys. What parts did you use for the drop?

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.

It is the djm kit, 3 inch springs, 3 inch coils, c-notch, flip kit, shock extenders, and all new shocks on all 4 corners.

How do you like the black mirrors? I presume they are the ones that most are selling on ebay.

i love them exspecially when towing, visibility is so much better. sometimes walking out to it after work i think regular 95-99 mirrors would look better on it daily driving, but as soon as i get a trailer on it i tell myself these are way better.

Re: 92 crew cab dually

My 3500 has the little mirrors on. Way too small for me. Even without a trailer on. Have them on the Suburban. Had a 93 with the next size mirrors (ones with the stainless heads) They worked, but wanted bigger on that. I actually want west coasts but the better half doesn't want them. So its these mirrors. Thanks for the reply!!
