'68 is off to get a new rear end!
I have been driving my '68 C-20 with the non highway friendly rear end gears for about 14 years. This morning I drove it from Burleson,Tx to Springtown,Tx so my oldest son can install a 2002 GM 14 bolt with 3.73 gears.I read about the installation here on the forum. I just want to thank everyone on the forum for sharing the info from their repairs.Helps us old guys keep enjoying these old trucks and introduces the hobby to the young. I also like seeing what the young whipper snappers do to their C-10's and 20's.A lot of talented folks!

I don't know what you have for an engine but I think you will like the 3.73 gears. They work with pretty much anything..... LockDoc
