IMS Rescue/Brush Truck
I seen this truck on Carb Day at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. It was a very nice looking truck. Wondering if one of the members here own it.

Re: IMS Rescue/Brush Truck
Love it. Are the Brites replaced with red lensed lights?

Re: IMS Rescue/Brush Truck
I like it, I'm sure there is a great story behind this truck.
Hope some one here can tell us! Greg |

Re: IMS Rescue/Brush Truck
I wonder if it is our old brush truck from Davison, Michigan.
The story on that one is: We purchased a new '69 GMC 2wd short wheel base stepper, in hugger orange. The Fire Chief lived down the street from us (which was handy, on several fronts) and liked it so much that when they bought a new brush truck that year he got a GMC long wheel base stepside in the same color. They used it during my growing up years and I was just thinking the other day I should see if they knew what happened to it. I can't imagine there are many around. K
