Under Bed Spare tire carrier value?
Just pulled this of my 72 C20.
Nothing more than surface rust in places. I don't see any pitting, and if there is it's very minor. There may be a few bends on the bottom (pictured), but there's no damage, and a crescent wrench will straighten them up no problem. With minimal effort this will clean up like new. Appears to have all the hardware, and the tire was mounted. Thanks for any input. ![]() ![]()

What if it was straight?
![]() The carriage bolt is bent somewhere near the middle. I suspect that's not factory intended, but it's the only way to remove/insert the bolt without removing the bed. ![]()

That was my guess, thank you. Not that I can't use the cash for other things, but for now, I think I'll paint and re-install, just so I won't declare in the future, "&(*&%% I wish I never sold that".
