Thumbs up Is the strip that goes at the top of the windshield the same on a Blazer and a Truck?

I found a repair kit on Southern Kentucky Classic that has all the pieces that go right above the windshield, but it is tagged for a 69-72 Blazer and I was wondering if the kit would work on a truck. The truck would be a 70-72.

That kit is to rebuild the windshield header. On the Blazer it's different since the top is removable.

Okay, thanks. I kind of thought it was different since the top is removable, but I thought I would go ahead and ask anyways.

Are you needing the inside or the outside?

If it is the outside they are the same, see this thread...

If it is the strip here then they are the same on a blazer and a truck.

Not that I'm aware of, good luck finding one. You might ask some of the blazer guys who are replacing their windshield frames if that part is good on their old frame. The blazer frames usually rust out on the inside panel and pillars.
