Is this tonneau still made

I bought this cover about 15 years ago in Tenn. I think the company was sold. Does anyone know if they are still available I want to replace the one I have now. Thanks

Re: Is this tonneau still made

If it's a Checkmate, they are out of business. They were in TN, I believe, and made the nicest hard bed covers I've ever seen. They sat flush with the bedsides and tailgate. Is that how yours is? They were out ahead of all the brands you see today, I think what may have happened is once so many hard covers started going on everyday trucks owners were expecting a dry bed and, while the Checkmates were the best looking for a custom truck, they weren't the best for being water tight. That is just my own gathering. All I know is I thought they were super nice looking on a custom truck.

Looks easy enough to make with angle aluminum and particle board wrapped in glass.

Re: Is this tonneau still made

I've got a mystery tonneau cover which has no markings. It's aluminum with some insulation backing much like what you guys are showing, maybe it's also a CheckMate?

yes that's who built it. I later saw and ad in a truck magazine and found out that another company had bought them out and I was looking for another spoiler that they made and they said they only had the covers. I can fix this one there's some sags in the top from ice so I'll have to fine some way to skin the top with something. The trucks going in the body shop next week so I'll ask what they think would be best to save it. Thanks for the reply be safe
