Re: Caribbean 66 project/build
Finally some sun! was able to get out and work on the inside of the cab. As I mentioned before I just wanted to look nice on the inside, not show quality so I got to sanding the horrible black paint. and started to spray some red on the black dash. Some chrome paint for the cluster over and between coats I also put some new battery terminals on. Also tried a grayish color for the cab floor that I like so I will remove the bench and keep going with that color. Also gave first coat of white to the column and steering wheel.
Thanks for all the comments!

Re: Caribbean 66 project/build
Took a break from working on the 66 and this followed me home! at least thats what I tell my fiancé LOL a 84 GMC 4x4! went to the other side of the island at night and we had a deal right away, it drives really well, 4x4 working, the paint is iffy but the body is solid all around, barely any rust, 350 original engine, double exhaust, lifted on crappy 33" tires. I have a really cool idea for this truck and will be used as a new company I am starting shop truck. Its been a work truck so the engine bay looks filthy but i will take care of that!It has some heavy duty axles on it, I believe the PO said there were Dana60 and Dana44 so I will get to check more info on them on Monday when it arrives at home.
Thanks!
