The powder coat was done by "All Pro Powder" in Antioch California. Great guy, who takes pride in his work. He put two coats of powder on the frame. The pictures really don't do the work justice. I am very happy to have found someone who still takes pride in the quality of work they do.

Rear section of the frame....fabbed, custom built, or bought?

And is it welded to the frame?

Other than drags, haven't seen one like it on these trucks....

I bought it from Chris Alston Chassis Works and had it welded in.

NICE, that looks awesome...I am thinking I am going to get my new frame for the S10 done when the time comes......Kinda helps I have a sand blaster though

If you don't mind telling us...how much did the powder coat job run you? I have an eastwood kit in the mail, only prob is no oven big enough to do my frame

botboy: Check out the radiant heat setups on Eastwoods site. Looks like you can powder coat with a propane heater. Im going to try it myself.

The cost of the powder coat was 450.00. That was for frame, sway bar and fan. I did not have the A arms coated. But he stated that would be another 150.00. The cost of having the frame sand blasted was $300.00.

"Perfect Auto Body" in Antioch stripped the frame, great job and great guy.

"All Pro Powder" in Antich coated the frame, again great job and great guy.

I will be doing more business with both of these establishments.

I will say that having the frame powder coated has changed my mind on which direction the project will go. I will be stepping up the out come of the whole project.
