This product has to be the best product on the market. It came with the Marine clean, Tank Prep, Tank Sealer, fuel stabilizer and complete instructions. I sealed my tank on a weekend. It takes 24 hours for it to dry. It has been a year since and not one once of rust or sediment has clogged up my fuel filter. Before I could not go a mile with out it getting clogged.
If anyone wants to seal an old fuel tank like the pros do. I recommend Por-15 fuel tank sealer.

Good to hear. I received my POR-15 small tank treatment kit at my door last week and will be using it shortly. I will report my results.

I have a gas tank for a 1966 chevy stepside that has all kinds of rust in it. Is it restorable or do I need a new one?

is it rusted out? or are there just rust flakes?
you could try doing the por15 and put a chain in the gas tank and shake it to loosen up the rust

There is just rust in the tank. It's not rusted out. I'll try the chain.

I've used other POR-15 products, and had no problems, but have been curious if the gas tank treatment really adheres to the inside of a gas tank. steve

Is it the POR-15 "Super" starter kit that you ordered? If so, does that kit take care of the cleaning too, or do I need to get it cleaned by a radiator shop?

I called POR a while back concerning a tank I'm going to have built. I figured I needed to seal or condition the tank in some fashion. The rep was full of information and told me that I shouldn't do anything to a new tank, then in about a year or so I could use their product on the tank. He said I wouldn't get the material to stick on new metal, it would take some time before their product would be able to do any thing.

Nice to hear I didn't need it now and that they weren't just going to try to sell it to me anyway. Some companies will sell you anything - whether or not you need it.
